Well, here it is Sunday of the Thanksgiving Weekend and it is raining in Tampa. I had a good weekend. I drove to Jacksonville on Wed and met hubby and we spent Thanksgiving with his cousin and her family and friends. We had a ton of food and ended the evening sitting around a bon fire in the back yard. We DID NOT get up early on Friday to go shopping. Speaking of shopping, did you hear about the Walmart worker who was killed by the shoppers? That is so disgusting. No sale is worth getting hurt or hurting someone else over. We did go to Best Buy to check out the big tv's. Then we headed east to St. Augustine which was very crowded. We could not even find a place to park in order to be able to walk around. So, we drove over to the beach, bought a soda and sat on some rocks and watch the waves. And there were some people playing in the water. While it was a nice day it was still very cold in the water. I think that Friday is too soon for leftovers so we invited the cousin and hubby to go out to dinner. Had a very nice evening. We ended up sitting there for 2 1/2 hours talking. I only had a salad because I was not feeling very well. Still wasn't feeling good when I got up on Saturday but had to pack up the dogs and get ready to drive home. The dogs were very happy to get home. Then last night I had friends stop by. They live in Fort Worth and had spent Thanksgiving in Miami with their son and other relatives. It was so nice to see them. They are crazy though. There were driving straight through to Fort Worth from Miami. The longest I did was Dayton to Tampa. Well, I guess that was pretty long.
I should close for now. I have lots of blogs to check out and laundry to do.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

michelle...so good to hear you are home safe once again after enjoying a nice
Thanksgiving! Hopefully, you were able to speak with Shay. I know it's tough, when they are away.
Welcome Home!
~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
AirmanMom, I am lucky that I talk to Shay multiple times per day. Somemight think we talk too much. Is there such a thing?
Never! I could not imagine having more than a couple days pass without talking to my daughters! As for sons....totally different scenario!
Michelle,
I am glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hope you are feeling better.
Tami
I was so glad to hear from you, Michelle, I've missed you! It was great hearing about your T-Day and weekend, though--all of it sounds WONDERFUL. A soda, a rock to sit on, and the water? Heaven! And spending the holidays with friends and family is priceless--good for you!
Still glad you're back, though.
sitting on the rocks and watching the ocean sounds so wonderful right now..
glad to hear you had a good holiday weekend, can you believe that Christmas is less than 4 weeks away?
Missed you tons!!
Thanks for the nice comments on the reunion pics. Are you going to your 30th?
H
I am glad you had a nice weekend. We plan on flying into Jacksonville and stay a week with my aunt and uncle in St. Augustine in either Jan or Feb while they are there for their annual stay. They just love it there.
I am with you on not putting the tree up this year....but I have to. I have the grandkids just 60 miles away and they would be disappointed I am afraid if I didn't. But no one will be here (most likely) and it is so much work for nothing. Then I have the "small house" issue that doesn't help any. I sure have missed talking to you, hope all is well, and I am sorry you have to go back to work...I am retired you know! (tomorrow is my last class till I become "certified". You can take that in many different ways! I will leave it up to you!
So glad you hada wonderful thanksgiving - all though it is odd to celebrate it on the beach, isn't it?? (It was for me, anyway....) Hope that your December is off to a fantastic start!
Yes, Michelle....that is a dude!!

Hey! Hope you're feeling better now. Just a passing 'bug', I hope?
I texted V a pic of the parade so she'd be "watching" with us. Still it was a tough day with her not here with us. I'm glad you and Shay talk a lot - even more than me and V do! (Which I didn't think was possible!)
Glad to see you in teh blogosphere again,
Lea
Okay, watching the ocean seriously beats any turkey dinner. I'm beach deprived here and need a good fix. I'm glad you had safe and happy travels with hubby!
