Five Songs

I was an original member of the David Cassidy Fan Club. So my first song is I Think I Love You

And don't tell me that you don't secretly sing along to this one if it plays on the radio - We've Only Just Begun.

My next love was Donny Osmond and my favorite was Puppy Love

And who could resist Shawn Cassidy and the hair. Do You Believe in Magic and DaDoRonRon

One of my all time favorites (and karaoke favorites) is I don't Wanna Play House.

My all time favorite artist has always been Reba McEntire. I got re-hooked on country music when she came out with Whoever's in New England and my very first Karaoke staple was Take It Back and I actually had a fan club on Friday nights at the club and these three gals would always come up and sing my back up for me.

About the same time that Reba came out with Whoevers in New England another lady was coming out with a song that would forever change my life. Amy Grant and Sharayah. Listen and see why named my only born Sharayah.

Thanks Kim-D for allowing me this trip down memory lane and thanks Hallie for giving me the YouTube idea. I really enjoyed this. If we are all ever together we definatly will have to go karaoke.

Now I challenge others to come up with their favorites and blog about it.

I love Reba too. I am a country girl through and through, I have heard of your other songs, but don't know them real well. I love music and that is why I love it when people have a playlist going on their blog. Music, calms the savage beast, even in me!

Great idea for a post!
Truly, music is one of the finest ways to define feelings. I've noted the playlist on my blog several times. Like LisaJ, I enjoy listening to the music chosen on blogs...I believe these selections are rarely random.
Reading your faves ShaysMom, I hummed along with each song... dating myself, eh?
Thanks for a fun post, I will most likely take you up on this challenge!

Michelle, we both love the same music! LOL

Reba has always been a favorite of mine. She used to perform locally when I lived in Oklahoma, with her brother and sister (Pake and Susie) as "The Singing McEntires".

I love her TV show too, and its out on DVD now! WOO HOO!

Michelle, I loved your songs. "Puppy Love"??? Oh, I loved that song, and I loved Donny singing it. I still love Donny, and was thrilled when I got to see him in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."

Plus, it makes me feel not quite so embarrassed over liking Pat Boone! BWAHAHAHA!
