I have a laptop I can take (they have plugs and wireless internet), I have books, and magazines. But I forgot my iPod at work. I am bummed now. So I may get to post again or I may not get to post again on Wed. Keep the prayers that I don't get some murder trial and have to stay there. Who wold take care of the dogs? And Anna?

I am hoping you do not have to be away from Anna, Brutus, Molly and Bindi.
When they ask if there is a reason you can not sit on a jury just tell them that you have two reasons, A daughter that needs to reach you via text messages and cell phones at a minutes notice and that you are the campaign manager for a presidential candidate and you have to be available to her at all times. If that doesn't work we will all start a letter writing campaign in your honor.

Commenting from work so I must keep it brief, but wanted to let ya know I'm thinkin' of ya!
Ok, I know it sucks, but it is your DUTY, just like voting!!! I wish more GOOD citizens would be on the jury instead of getting out of it, then maybe MAYBE our justice system might be a little better. It is a shame that being on a jury trial is such an inconvience to so many, and I know that it is. It is highly unlikely that I will ever be used on a jury as being a retired police officer, but I would really like to be. Sorry for all the issues it causes, hopefully Anna will be ok, boy she sure has been introduced to the good ole U. S. of A. in a short period of time huh?
so if you do really want to get out of it, just say, I already think they are guilty and I believe in the death penalty, you will be dismissed!!!!
I saw that there was an update, so I am guessing you had to stay for a while. I hope you dont have to serve on the Jury.
But if you did, it would give Anna an awesome chance to see the american judicial system at work!
