I will start by saying that as of right now (10am EST) It will be 28 hours until I see Shay!!! Not that I am counting.
So, as you know I am flying to Ohio tomorrow. I land in Dayton at 1:45pm so give or take 10 mins I should get my "skin time" by 2pm. I am hoping to take the girls (Shay and her friend Natalie) to them HERE for dinner. I love going there. That is IF they get their power back on. They have been without power since Sunday. They told me that they had to through away a ton of food. So I asked if they would even have food to serve if they get power. He said that the food was deliverable within 2 hours of power being restored.
Well I probably won't be able to post until we get back to Tampa on Tuesday so I wanted to wish everyone a great weekend (You know I will be having one) and I promise to post pictures and stories on Tuesday. PROMISE!!
Our journey will begin on Monday sometime after 1pm. It is supposed to take about 15 hours to drive and I don't want to get to the house before 7:30 (don't want to wake the dog sitter) so we will be taking our time. We will drive through Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville, Chatanooga, Atlanta and then on down through Florida. I know, we are going slightly out of the way, But that is so we can stop in Nashville as WE have never been there. Wish us a safe journey.

Oh the build up is mounting. You are going to have such a wonderful time, new memories just waiting to be made, and lots of hugs, tugs, and tears. Wear your seat belt, turn the music up loud, and we will see you when you get home.
Michelle I am SO excited for you and for Shay! Please give her a huge hug or two from me. I am so proud of her.
Good news, I think most places in Ohio have their power back. 2 of my friends in the area have been without power since last weekend and they both have power back today.
have a safe trip, enjoy your mom and daughter time and TAKE PICS!!
hugs!
Awww, Michelle, I can't even imagine what a great weekend you have had! I can't wait until you next post to hear all about it and, in the meantime, I'll be wishing and praying for safe travels!
It is Monday morning, I was sitting here thinking about you and wondering what you two were doing. I can't wait to hear about the graduation, and the Melting Pot experience and of course the trip home with your daughter. Home, sounds good doesn't it?
Safe and fun travels, my friend.
