I was Blog Spammed

How the hell do you get spammed on blogs? It happened to my post this morning. Some excavator crap.

Well I promised better pictures and here we go.

Here is the Welcome to Missouri sign.

Here is Mt. Rushmore. I will also have some from my camera.

This is from the Arch of St. Louis.

What trip would be complete without visiting the Corn Palace?

And Wall Drug Store.

Tomorrow we are headed to Billings, MT. We are going to a drive through animal place in the morning before we leave the area though. So hopefully we will get some good pics.

To answer a couple of questions left in my comments.

I am flying back from Spokane to Tampa. I will not be ready for this drive again for a couple of years.

Eyebrow Threading is where they take regular thread (white) and the twist it. The gal keeps one end in her mouth while twisting the hairs out. She kind of jerks here head back a little to get a pull on the hairs. It was weird to watch. Shay says that is was painful but you don't get the after effects that you get from waxing.

Goodnight for now.

Sorry it's been so long since I've popped in, but I have been in the fair state of Florida :)!

Wow, what a trip you two have/are taking--and I LOVE the pix. The "welcome to" signs are great; I would totally do that, too. It brought back old memories to see Mt. Rushmore, the Corn Palace and Wall Drug. South Dakota was our first family vacation, way back so many years before. I would imagine you two are having a little fun along the way??? :)

Also, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the puppies...so cute. Have fun, and drive careful...

Man I am behind times with you. You must have posted after I read and I just missed it....so sorry. It looks like you are seeing a lot of neat things, I hope you all are having some nice conversations and good food along the way. It is cold and wet here today so I don't know if you are safe and dry or not. I will be thinking of you and checking on you more often.

I love, love, love Montana! Wave at Glacier National Park as you go by! GNP is our favorite place next to Alaska.

About a year ago I had some of that crazy spam. I just deleted it and haven't had it since. How on earth do they do that? Do they say "find me the blog of a person driving from Florida to Washington and then post stupid comments on it?"

Drive carefully, especially through the mountains. And continue to enjoy your time with Shay.

I know some folks that it would take hours to eyebrow thread. I may have to try it just so when some of my nieces or great-nieces talk about doing it I won't be like 'wtf?'

Safe travels

Umm..didn't know Kim had been in FL. Guess I should visit her more often :(

Do realize the states you have just whizzed through in the past week? I'm dizzy and I know you know cause you two did it. Geez.

I hope you and Shay let each other "drive" without arguing. David and I always argue about each other's driving :)

Keep trucking ladies!!

Oh, yes. I was spammed last week or early this week. A Viagra thing I think. Oh well.
